Introduction:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>This evening we are going to delve into a very sensitive and under preached subject.\u00a0 <\/span>We do it because this is the subject of our passage.\u00a0 <\/span>We do it because this sin is destroying lives and families at a record rate.\u00a0 <\/span>We are going to talk about sex.\u00a0 <\/span>Specifically, we are going to talk about the sin of fornication, or sex outside of marriage.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Every day we are bombarded with messages, both subtle and graphic, that a successful and happy person is one who has many sexual conquests in his or her life.\u00a0 <\/span>Every TV show and movie assumes that sex outside of marriage is assumed and accepted as a normal function like eating.\u00a0 <\/span>One born again Lutheran pastor friend of mine is seeking my help with a marriage ceremony because this is the first couple he has married that were not already living together or having an active physical relationship.\u00a0 <\/span>They are the only ones he has ever worked with who even claimed to be saving themselves for the wedding night!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>One of our biggest problems as a society is that we feel that we are the possessors of our own bodies.\u00a0 <\/span>If you are a Born Again Believer, you are not your own, Jesus owns you!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Your body is God\u2019s holy creation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Genesis 1:27<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

27 So God created man in his own<\/span> image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

God give us men. The time demands<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Strong minds, great hearts,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

True faith and willing hands;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Men whom the <\/span>lust<\/span> of office does not kill;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Men whom the spoils of office cannot buy;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Men who possess opinions and a will;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Men who have honor; men who will not lie;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Men who can stand before a demagogue<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And damn his treacherous flatteries without winking;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tall men, sun-crowned men, who live above the fog<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In public duty and in private thinking. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
